DAY 1 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (SUNDAY): VILNIUS
Arrival at Vilnius International Airport. An optional airport transfer to Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva**** or another similar hotel in Vilnius can be pre-booked. Hotel check-in and welcome meeting with our group guide rep.
DAY 2 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (MONDAY): VILNIUS
Breakfast in the morning. The day will be spent in Vilnius and its surroundings. Vilnius is a charming city with diverse architecture, culture, history and busy modern life. A group panoramic and walking excursion after breakfast will let you see and enjoy Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne's Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. In the afternoon, you are offered an optional tour of Trakai and its beautiful castle; Trakai is known as Lithuania's medieval capital. Trakai is a lovely place, and its scenery is a must-see in Lithuania. Why not book a special folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas in Vilnius?
DAY 3 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (THURSDAY): VILNIUS-RIGA
After breakfast at the hotel and departure for Riga, the first visit on the route is the Hills of Crosses, one of the holiest sites of Catholic Lithuania. We will continue towards Latvia and shortly reach the marvellous Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. A guided tour of the palace will be organised for you. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Riga and check in at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija**** or a similar standard hotel in Riga.
DAY 4 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (WEDNESDAY) RIGA
Breakfast buffet in your hotel. Before you learn more about Riga City, you are offered to explore charming medieval Latvia first - Sigulda and its surroundings. This optional sightseeing tour will take you to the beautiful nature of the Gauja National Park and the Town of Sigulda. There you will be presented with the fantastic Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see Maja's Tombstone, the Episcopal Castle ruins, the Castle of the Knights of the Sword and the mysterious Gutman Cave before we return to Riga. You can also book an optional tour in the afternoon - a visit to the Ethnographical Open Air museum in Riga, a spacious exposition of 18th-century country life where you will see examples of typical Latvian architecture. An optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral in the Riga Old Town can be booked too for the evening. It is worth a visit.
DAY 5 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (THURSDAY): RIGA
Riga, the capital of Latvia, is more stunning than the eight-hundred-year-old city. Riga is located along the Baltic Sea on the southern coast of the Gulf of Riga, on the Rigava coastal plain. The historical core of Riga is situated on the right bank of the Daugava River, about 10 kilometres from where the Daugava flows into the Gulf of Riga. The natural terrain of this area is a flat and sandy plain, about 1 to 10 meters above sea level. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. Enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant Three in the evening.
DAY 6 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (FRIDAY): RIGA-TALLINN
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Tallinn; the route goes along the Baltic coast and will have a stop at the resort of Parnu, Estonia. We will have a short excursion of Parnu before we continue our journey to Tallinn, where we will arrive in the early afternoon and check in at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia**** or a similar standard hotel in Tallinn.
DAY 7 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour(SATURDAY): TALLINN
Tallinn is a beautiful modern city; it boasts a jaw-dropping Old Town. Tallinn's medieval Old Town is known worldwide for its authentic architecture. Enjoy the cobblestone streets and houses dating back to the 11th century, visit a few local art and crafts showrooms, galleries, and museums to indulge in small cosy cafés or restaurants and buy travel memorabilia from summer or Christmas open-air Hanseatic fairs. The old Town has numerous shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town, where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon, an optional tour is offered to Kadriorg Park with a visit to the KUMU art museum. You are invited to join an optional medieval Estonia dinner at Restaurant Maikrahv in Tallinn Old Town.
DAY 8 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (SUNDAY): TALLINN - HELSINKI
In the morning, we take the hydrofoil from Tallinn to Helsinki and enjoy a refreshing tour through the Finnish archipelago before arriving in Helsinki, transferring to Hotel Radisson Blu Seaside**** or similar, and check-in in. The balance of the day is reserved for exploring and enjoying Helsinki on your own.
DAY 9 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (MONDAY): HELSINKI
Helsinki is truly located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture, reflected everywhere in the green and lively Finnish capital. The sightseeing tour takes us around the harbours and the Senate Square with the Lutheran Cathedral, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit to the famous Church-in-the-Rock. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Suomenlinna Fortress, a cultural treasure whose construction was started in the 18th century as a sea fortress. Located on an island, the defence is a unique attraction for visitors. It is possible to book an optional dinner at Finnish Restaurant Salve in the evening.
DAY 10 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (TUESDAY): HELSINKI - ST-PETERSBURG
Today we continue eastbound to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia, we arrive in Vyborg, where we take time for a short sightseeing tour and a visit to Vyborg Castle. In the late afternoon, we arrive in St. Petersburg and check in at Hotel Sokos Vasilevsky**** or similar.
DAY 11 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (WEDNESDAY): ST-PETERSBURG
St. Petersburg is a fantastic city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city "The Venice of the North". During the morning sightseeing tour, we get acquainted with the city's splendours: the Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent and much more. The afternoon offers an optional visit to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum. In the evening, an optional visit to the Nikolaevsky Palace with an exciting Russian folklore show, Russian "Champagne", and snacks.
DAY 12 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (THURSDAY): ST-PETERSBURG
An optional excursion in the morning offers a visit to Peterhof, an uncontested masterpiece of the time of Peter the Great, with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade and Water Avenue and its beautiful parks. The afternoon is reserved for an optional excursion to Zarskoe Selo with the impressive Catherine's Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during World War II and was restored for St. Petersburg tri-centennial celebrations. And in the evening, enjoy an optional Russian dinner at Restaurant Pryanosti & Radosti.
DAY 13 Baltic Revelation Coach Group Tour (FRIDAY): DEPARTURE FROM ST-PETERSBURG
Optional transfer to the airport in St. Petersburg.
